Wow! I can’t tell you how happy I am that so many of you have taken an interest in my photos and life! If anything I do inspires you, or makes you feel great, I feel like I have done my job here. I really love that everyone is getting so much love from these photos. I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to write to me, or to repost all these cool articles that are popping up. I really appreciate your time and efforts! With that said I think I should publicly address a few things.
I am not, and have never claimed to be, a professional ballerina. Ballet is something I Incorporate into my burlesque routines, and not something I do full time. I feel like a lot of these articles are focusing on me being a “ballerina,” when I am on pointe in only a few of my routines. But I try to always carry the grace of ballet with me when I dance, and I continue to be inspired by the art form.
The amazing photo that Della took of me of me on the staircase was actually taken in an abandoned mansion. We had to rush in and out of there pretty fast, so my ribbons are not tied (as many people insist on pointing out), and yes, my form is all wrong. We were trespassing and did not want to get caught! Ha!!! Anyway, I am not a professional ballerina, I see that as a title that needs to be earned. I dropped out at 16, which I am very open about in all my statements, so I am not sure why every article and listicle now insists on billing me as a “ballerina.” I am a burlesque performer!
I am excited to see you all inspired by my photos, and hope I can continue to inspire you as you keep following my work. Burlesque and modeling are just two of the things I do, I am also a fashion design graduate, makeup artist, and hairdresser. I can’t wait to show all of you what is happening in the next few months! Thanks for reading. I love ya’ll!
